Valentine's Day Style!

Love it or hate it, but you can’t avoid it: Tuesday is Valentine’s Day! Why does Valentine’s Day always get such a bad reputation? People calling it things like “Single Awareness Day” and vowing to begrudge the whole day, it’s kind of silly don’t you think? I don’t know, I’m a little biased. My birthday is at the end of February, and every year growing up I always had a Valentine’s Day themed birthday party. Something about those chalky conversation hearts and little cardboard valentines brings back such cheerful memories of growing up. I digress.

Anyways, no matter what your Valentine’s Day plans are, whether you have a date night with your Valentine, a night out with the girls to celebrate being single (and loving it!), or an Anti-Valentine’s Day Party to celebrate being single (and not so happy about it…) three of New York’s cutest boutiques, Poppy, Love, Adorned, and the aptly-named Cutie Room, have the perfect outfit and accessories for you to celebrate the most loving day of the year in style. What are your Valentine’s Day plans? My roommates and I are planning to stay in, eat chocolate, and watch American Psycho (What girl wouldn’t want to spend Valentine’s Day with Christian Bale!).
