If you weren’t working at Zaden Row, what would you be doing? I would still be wondering where else there was to shop in the city!
What do you love about your current neighborhood? My neighbors on both ends are all like my second families. It’s the greatest feeling to be literally surrounded by people who love and care for you just as much as you do for them.
Hit shuffle on your iPod, what song showed up? Sunday Morning by Maroon 5
What would be your last meal? My last meal would be steak for sure, with twice baked potatoes and stuffed mushrooms. And you can’t forget about the chocolate cake for dessert.
What would you tell your 16-year-old self? I would tell my 16-year-old self to get a little more attitude and start to learn how to truly rely on myself.
Favorite local boutique in your ‘hood: Probably more a fan of shopping in NYC, and I love Yellow Rat Bastard, because they have the coolest brands you’ve never heard of and some great finds that most people like me are too afraid to take the chance and walk in there to look for.
Hit shuffle on your iPod, what song showed up?: Superfreak from the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack (don’t judge)
Death row meal: Hot dogs, any kind
What would tell your 16 year old self? Go out now and have fun–it’ll all turn out the same in the end, but you’ll probably have way less freak outs, breakouts, and dark circles under your eyes.
If you could travel back in time, which fashion era would you visit? Early 90′s, Marc Jacobs grunge era when he still had that ponytail and got fired from Perry Ellis.
Describe your style: Eclectic/chic but comfortable
Favorite holiday: Halloween & Christmas
What do you love about your current neighborhood? Live in lower Harlem by Central Park, so I get to walk by the park on my way to work every morning. It’s beautiful any time of day, any weather!
Favorite show when younger: “Are You Afraid of the Dark”
What did you want to be when you grew up? A writer and an artist
What would you tell 16 year old self? Invest in better clothing pieces and accessories- quality over quantity; don’t loose sight of your creativity; and keep doing what you’re doing- life only get’s better!
