Blogger Love Friday! ZR Girl Crush Karen Blanchard

Nothing makes me crush harder than a fashion blogger that breaks all the rules and still looks fabulous. Print mixer? Check. Animal prints on steroids? Check. Sneakers with lace? Double check. Hats with anything? Ahh I digress!

Karen Blanchard, an NYC implant by way of London, is all over the bloggisphere. She’s appeared in countless fashion mags (Marie Claire and Teen Vogue to name a few) and has been featured in online spreads by Topshop and Uniqlo. Her blog, Where Did U Get That is one of my daily go-to’s, and I’m not alone! Ya she’s kind of a big deal.

So what better way to kick of the weekend than with an ensemble inspired by Miz Blanchard, fashioned by non other than Zaden Row. Peep what we came up with, after the jump.

{Some Odd Rubies Blue Snake Palazzo Pant; MM Couture Crochet Top; Gift Shop Brooklyn Zebra Raw Edge Bag; K/LLER Owel Skull Necklace; SUPER Giaguaro Black Sunglasses; Kut from the Kloth Moto Jacket}

As an avid W.D.U.G.T fan, I’ve come to realize three things about Karen Blanchard. She’s got a serious knack for prints, maxis, and lace all woven into one. I love how she manages to pair romantic tops and dresses with flowing maxi dresses, and edge it out with loud animal prints- creating the perfect boho-gone-grunge aesthetic that gets me gassed!

Dear Karen- You know you’d love these amazing palazzo pants from Some Odd Rubies. They’re flowy, sheer, and surprise! Covered in a subtle snake print. Paired with a crochet off the shoulder top from Julia James and a bold zebra print bag from Gift Shop Brooklyn for just the right balance of relaxed femininity and urban edge. Finish off the look with round framed sunnies by Super, a unique necklace, and a little leather for after dark.

Like what you see? Get the look here, at Zaden!

Now bring on the weekend!!
