With more and more women becoming powerful in today’s society, we’re seeing a change reflected in the most visual of ways: fashion.  Okay, maybe that sounds a little dramatic–but seriously, girls are kicking ass in all fields nowadays.  No longer are we in need of commercials like that 1997 (woah, throwback!) Gatorade commercial with Michael Jordan and Mia Hamm to make us feel like equals (if not superiors!) in any game.  This kind of attitude should play directly into your daily life, and Zaden Row is here to show you how.

We know how much you like wearing a powersuit to work–not.  That’s why we’ve put together a few of our favorite “menswear” looks so you can channel your inner masculinity–however you want to take that.

Our first favorite look that we’ve featured in many past posts is the collared shirt.  This is a no brainer in terms of trying to master the menswear style.  A collared shirt in a fun color or pattern, as show above, is the perfect way to make your workwear, or going-out wear, a little more formal and bold.

Second, we wanted to feature this moto jacket from Julia James.  Not only is it an amazing price, but what screams “don’t mess with me” than a Hells Angels meets classy downtowner moto jacket?  The two-toned jacket is heavy looking enough to take you into fall while you hold onto those last few [precious] moments of summer.

And f you’re daring enough, we encourage you to try out these high-waisted version of the classic pleated pant, from Grey Era Vintage.  Paired with a plain tank top, as pictured, they’re perfect for going out.  Add a black blazer and you’re in business–literally.
